ELON MUSK TO REVEAL US NEURALINK TRY OUT THIS AUGUST

Elon Musk, Tesla, and SpaceX CEO announced a key update on his brain-machine interface company Neuralink this week. He has also affirmed human trials for the technology that has been successfully tested on mice and even apes.

Amidst the conjecture of the whole agenda, a live demonstration of neuron firing activity has also been confirmed.

Last month Musk Tweeted. Musk further added that a new Neuralink chip will allow its users to hear sounds that previously were impossible to human ears to experience.

The new feature was confirmed by Elon, last month over an exchange with a Twitter user who asked: “If we implement Neuralink – can we listen to music directly from our chips? Great feature.”

Musk affirmed with a simple, “yes”.

He went on to that the chip would be able to control hormone levels and hence will be helpful against anxiety relief, among other things.

Neuralink last year had developed tiny brain “threads” in a chip that would help paralyzed people control devices and also empower people with brain disorders.

The chip is not only durable and easy to be used at home but can also replace cumbersome devices currently used as brain-machine interfaces.

In February this year, Musk had promised an “awesome” update by Neuralink.”This highlights the profound benefits of different bandwidths and high precision neural interfaces. Neuralink may have this in a human as soon as this year,” Musk had tweeted.

How Elon Musk Neuralink Is Going To Help Humans In A Different Area.

The technology is equipped with a module that sits outside the head, behind the ear, and receives information from “threads” embedded in the human brain.

Driven by an iPhone app, the “N1 sensor” chip can have as many as 3,072 electrodes per array spread over 96 “threads” with only one USB port coming out.

“threads” are smaller than the tiniest human hair. The chip would run wireless in the near future and would not only read, and transmit high-volume data but also amplify signals from the brain.

“This has the ability to overcome many brain-related illnesses,” Musk declared at the launch event last year.

“The aim is to recognize and manage brain disorders, protect and improve your own brain and build a well-aligned future.”

Musk founded Neuralink in 2016 but has only held one major public presentation since then. Further developments about Neuralink would be presented at an event on August 28, this year.
